In addition to this best-selling text, he is the author of DEBATING CRIME: RHETORIC AND REALITY, and BATTLE SUPREME: THE CONFIRMATION OF CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN ROBERTS AND THE FUTURE OF THE SUPREME COURT, both from Wadsworth. His articles have appeared in a wide array of scholarly journals, including Law and Society Review, Judicature, Policy Studies Journal, and Law and Policy Quarterly. If you're reading this one, then you already know the gist of this textbook, My class required the latest version of this book, I always purchase older versions with no issues, meaning the book changes very little - maybe an additional of a chapter here or there or organized a little differently, but that it.
...for a required college class. It was a typical text book and I had no problems with it. After the class I kept it as a reference book.
I needed this book for school. Wow! am I learning a lot. I like how it is writen. Easy to understand and comprehend. Will hang on to this one for future references in the Criminal Justice field.
This book is an older edition I needed for the class and it worked just as well as newer editions.
MISLEADING. the book I got was not in new condition as advertised. Infact the book was worn, the cover had scratches, the corners were slightly ripped. the pages were a mess-Many highligher marks that were all over the place and distracting.WHEN YOU PUT SOMETHING AS LIKE NEW OR NEW CONDITION it means that its perfect or almost perfect. Not something that looks like its been checked out 1,000 times from a libary.I was greatly disappointed by the condition of the book and felt jipped. I thought I found a diamond in the rough instead I got something that was roughed up
This was not what I was looking for. I needed the student addition. I was very disappointed
